How to reach Manokamna Bhawan from Katra
Every pilgrim registers at Katra before starting the trek, and a yatra slip (parchi) is mandatory. From there you can reach the Bhawan in several ways:
- On foot, starting at Banganga, about 12–13 km to the Bhawan.
- By pony or palanquin (palki) on the traditional track.
- By helicopter from Katra, which lands at Sanjichhat. You then cover the rest of the way up.
- Battery cars, which are mostly reported to run between Ardhkuwari and the Bhawan rather than from Katra.
